Dr. Austin Murdock founded SixMap in 2020 to revolutionize how organizations manage their internet-facing assets.

As the inventor of Computational Network Mapping, Austin holds a Ph.D. in Security, Networking, and High-Performance Computing and has a career rooted in the intelligence community, MIT-Lincoln Lab, JHU Applied Physics Laboratory, and prestigious DoD programs.

Before SixMap, he aimed to solve the longstanding challenge of mapping IPv6, a problem over two decades old.

After succeeding, he ported the technology to IPv4, creating a fully automated solution for continuous threat exposure management for internet-facing assets, from discovery to remediation of threats.
